Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (‘UK GDPR’), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
- We have a contractual obligation
- We have a legitimate interest
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored in computerised form on our web servers. We keep your personal information for as long as you are a subscribing customer; as and when you cease to be a subscribing customer, we will retain your data for a maximum of seven years, in case there are disputes, before deleting it from our servers.
Embedded content from other websites
Our webpages may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles) from other websites. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content; this can include tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account with and are logged in to that website.
Your rights in respect to your date that we hold
- With some exceptions, you have the right to a copy of the personal data that we hold about you. We can make a reasonable charge for repeat requests, to cover our administrative costs. For data that you have given to us, you will receive your copy of it in a common electronic format.
- You have the right to have the personal data we hold about you corrected if it contains factual inaccuracies.
- In some circumstances, you have the right to instruct us to erase personal data that we hold about you (‘the right to be forgotten’); this right is not generally available if we have a valid legal reason to keep the data.
- You have the right to require us to stop using your personal data for marketing purposes.
- You have the right in some circumstances to request that temporary restrictions are placed on how we process your personal data, for example, if we are processing it on the basis of our legitimate interest, and you contest our assessment that our interest is not overridden by your fundamental freedoms and rights.
- If we are processing your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, in which case we will stop that processing unless we have another legal basis on which to continue the processing of it.
If you want us to stop sending you marketing emails, the most efficient way to notify us is to use the links provided for this purpose in the emails we send (although you can also contact us directly if you prefer). Otherwise, if you want to exercise your rights in respect of your personal data, the best way to do this is to contact us using this email address: mail @ theatremail.net or to write to us at the address above. To protect your privacy, when you contact us we may ask you to prove your identity before we take any action in response to your request.
Other than as stated above, you are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we will respond to you within 30 days.
